WANGPROM HERB

1993

WANGPROMHERB started almost three decades ago as a small business by Mr. Chalerm and Mrs. Pranom Wangprom who bought balms and the other herbs from Phra Chettuphon-Wimon-Mangkhalaram Temple or Wat Pho, Bangkok to sell in our home area. The first store was located in front of RaiKhing Temple (Wat Rai-Khing), Sampran District, Nakhonpathom Province.

1995

From those humble beginnings, we aspired to develop real Thai herbal balms. We studied ingredients and Thai herbs to make our first balm, Plai Balm (Yellow Balm). Plai (Zingiber Cassumunar) is used for relief of muscular aches and pains, the first herbal balm was created. Typically, a balm in Thailand would cause a hot feeling when applied on skin, but Plai Balm has extraordinary properties. It makes you feel cool instead of hot, thus becoming the first original cool balm in Thailand.

1997

While the success of Wangpromherb’s Plai Balm became a famous balm in Thailand, we wanted to develop more so we continued to research all Thai herbs and then found the benefit of Sa-Let-Pang-Pond (Baleria Lupulina) for relief of insect bites and muscular aches. Because of the special floral scent, Sa-Let-Pang-Pond balm became a best seller product of Wangpromherb. This is the real masterpiece balm.

2004

The popularity of Plai Balm and Sa-Let-Pang-Pond Balm in Thailand has made the company grow rapidly. More and more herbal products have launched to the market. We moved to the next step with the support from the 2004 Product Champion award for the Plai Balm from OTOP (One Tumbon One Product- a Government project to improve Thailand SMEs). This prize promoted the quality and efficiency of our products and made us widely accepted in the country.

2005

As for manufacturing, we have been accredited by the GMP from Thailand FDA. This recognition shows how much we value our customers' trust with our responsibility to their well-being.
